What are the benefits of Granite worktops and surfaces?

If you wish for a purely natural choice, granite is 100% natural and not manufactured, so it is a great organic choice. Nonetheless, when comparing the properties of quartz vs. granite, it is noteworthy that quartz, being a manufactured material, is slightly harder and more damage-resistant. With its higher ranking on the hardness scale, quartz can be a more durable alternative to granite but at a higher price point.
However, granite is resistant to sun fade, much more heat resistant than quartz, scratches less easily and chips to granite are easier to repair than chips to quartz.
